It's official.......today Shannon had her first run-in with a deer. Her and Ben were heading home from the store down a 2 lane road and BAM!!!!! She didnt know what she hit but the truck was sounding a little funny. She made her way down the road slowly to a private road and checked it out. At least 2 people went by her after it happened and no one stopped to help. The truck at the time was not drivable. Luckily one of Shannon's friends came to help her out and they got the tire well off the front tire so she could drive home. Never saw the deer down the road or saw it in the mirror afterwards. Poor deer.
Everyone is alright and just a little jittery.
